Falling

It keeps falling
Falling
Falling

The absolute stillness, vacuum, the void all around
It glitters and sparkles as it cascades to the ground.
It’s pure geometry and wonderfully calming
And I watch
As it keeps falling
Falling
Falling

Relentlessly covers the land
It drapes itself over everything in sight
I can sit and watch my boys play for hours.
Snowball fights, and screams of delight
And on the fence a dear little starling
I watch as they keep falling
Falling
Falling

Like a January winter squall
I wasn’t prepared for you at all
Reckless and completely out of the blue
I was swept up like the gust of snow
And darling
I keep falling
Falling
Falling
For you.
